Lilo Kinne with her models James, Kristina, Aya and Miguelito at Wyclef Jean's birthday party at Quo nightclub in Chelsea October 26, 2004 where she held an ART PERFORMANCE WITH BODY PAINTING on stage. This was the very first time, Lilo agreed to paint human bodies in front of an audience and not in a photographers studio.

The body for Lilo Kinne is like a canvas able to show the beauty of her painting in a three dimensional way.

TRANSCENDENCE OF MATTER:

Lilo Kinne has painted objects of different sorts for more than 30 years already. She has extended her means of expression more and more into different media.

After painting in the early 1970s and 1980s numerous objects such as: Shoes and Clothes she wore, Furniture she owned from her family, as well as the Cars she drove, Lilo included more and more objects which she painted.

Special is, that Lilo Kinne still uses these objects in her daily life.
Until now, she lives with some pieces of the furniture she painted which belonged to her grandparents and which were part of their home in Germany.

It is amazing to see the colorfulness, the strength and radiance of all of these works, that is what most people feel and express

Throughout the past 30 years, Lilo Kinne presented works of art, and held art events/ exhibits of her own art in cooperation with artists from all over the world (paintings, photographs, multimedia installations, videos, Art Performances with Dance & Theater, and Body Painting).

Since the 1970's, she has developed international art projects with ART SPACEs in different cultures (Stuttgart, San Francisco, Tokyo, Frankfurt, Paris & New York), where she arranged exhibitions and held art performances.
