Dear Friends all over the world,

On June 14th (2 days ago), I held one of my Art Performances at the club AER in the meatpacking district of New York City during Melky Jean's birthday party. Melky asked me for this favor, since during her brother Wyclef Jean's birthday party in October 2004, I held an "Art Performance With Body Painting" which everyone enjoyed very much. My Art Performances integrate Body Painting together with Dance & Theater (during which I speak extemporaneously about the human existence).

More and more, these Art Performances have become powerful events during which the audience/the observers become part of the experiment of my performance.

In my function as the director of the ART SPACE-NEW YORK of International Art Research (iar), as well as an internationally well known artist with my paintings in major art collections all over the world, I am extremely well connected to fine art collectors, museum chief curators and directors, gallerists worldwide, as well as people in the film, music, and fashion industry.

Some of my art collectors are people such as the chairman of Duracel Corporation Mr. Daugherty, who has a private art museum in Vero Beach Florida, and who owns some of my paintings. Reinhold Wuerth, one of my German art collectors, who owns 3 private art museums in Germany and 123 firms in 53 countries all over the world, owns paintings of mine in the value of $1 Million.

You will have the opportunity to see what I have accomplished throughout the past more than 30 years in my life. All is documented there, and you can view numerous texts and pictures of my art, the book about my MULTIDIMENSIONAL ART, my ART IN FASHION clothes collection and many other things.

In 1994, I have published the book "LILO KINNE-MULTIDIMENSIONAL ART" in a limited edition of 2500 books in three languages (French, German and English). This book is in the hands of the leading people in the international art community. You can view the paintings of this book online.

Last year, the only two people who received an exemplary of this limited edition artist book were Russell Simmons and Wyclef Jean. I signed, numbered, and dedicated a book to both of them. Wyclef received his book as a birthday gift at his birthday party, which was extremely interesting through my art performance with body painting during which I painted live on stage 4 bodies: 2 men (One black and one Hispanic) and 2 women's (One white and one Japanese). I will send you a few photographs of this event by separate e-mails.

Throughout the past 10 years, I signed, numbered and dedicated books to the major figures in the field of contemporary art all over the world. Additionally to the directors and chief curators of major international museums such as the "Tate Gallery" in London, the "Centre Georges Pompidou" in Paris, the "Museum of Modern Art" and the "Metropolitan Museum" in New York, I have dedicated my book to the major international gallerists in cities such as Paris, London, Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles, Zurich, Basel, Berlin, Munich and others. Many of my national and international art collectors have private museums and art collections which are extensive and important.

From 1982-89 in Paris, I created, produced and distributed a fashion collection with original works of art in limited edition. This clothes collection was in the best stores all over the world (such as Bergdorf Goodman, Henry Bendell in New York City and Macys and Bloomingdales all over the United States), as well as in similar stores in Japan, and all over Europe. Each piece was delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity. In linen, silk, cotton and wool, these outfits were worn in the fashionable streets all over Europe (Milano, Roma, Paris, Cannes, Saint Tropez, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Zurich, Basel, Geneva, Madrid, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Brussels, London), Japan and the United States."

Since approximately 20 years, I create and produce art films and cooperate with well known film producers in New York, Los Angeles and different European as well as other international cities in my art film projects. On my website under the link LOSSES IN OUR LIVES, you can view 19 segments of an art film (each1-3 minutes long) which I co-produced with a well known New York film producer. Evan Seplow has created music videos for Bon Jovi, Elton John, U2, Vanessa Williams, Coolio and has directed and produced several cinema movies throughout the years.

Already in the early 1970s, I was a pioneer in the field of "WRITTEN WORD" on paintings, art objects, which were objects of my daily live transformed into ART. In Stuttgart in the early 1970s and later in Frankfurt, Germany, in Tokyo (1980) and in Paris (1982-89), I wore clothes and shoes which I had painted with statements written on them. I called this "TRANSCENDENCE OF MATTER" since by touching objects as well as later human beings, I transcend (bring) them to another higher plane of existence. My spiritual touch "heals".

Since I created my first Art Tapes more than 30 years ago, and Art Films almost 20 years ago, I used "SPOKEN WORD" in front of the tape recorder and the video/film camera. A simple extension became the "SPOKEN WORD" in front of the microphone combined with music in recent years.

When I visited Russell Simmons's offices in January last year, I met with Jeff Johnson, who was at the time the Executive Director of the "Hip-Hop Summit Action Network", and I spoke with Jeff concerning a cooperation of different well known rappers in my "International Art Spoken Word/Hip-Hop project". Jeff has joyfully agreed to help me in this project, and he suggested to talk additionally with Sean Jean as well as with Shaun Carter in his function as the President of "Def Jam" and to ask them for their cooperation in this project for the international fine art museums all over the world.

Since he opened his gallery 9 years ago, I know Danny Simmons, Russell's older brother. I am part of the international art scene for a very long time and 90% of the major international fine art gallerists all over the world not only know me, but many are close friends of mine, some for over 20 years.

In front of my film producers and photographers, who co-produce with me Art Films and photos, which document my Art Performances for the international fine art museums all over the world, I hold my Art Performances. These Art Performances consist of "Dancing while Choreographing", "Intuitive Theater" which became "Spoken Word" alone as well as with other artists included and "Body Painting" as an extension of my project "TRANSCENDENCE OF MATTTER".

"Spoken Word" Art Performances, into which I integrate young "Spoken Word" artists and rappers, are part of my expressions since a few years. In my "International Art Spoken Word/Hip-Hop Project", I work with other "Spoken Word Artists"/"Hip-Hop Artists" who cooperate with me in the booth creating music. In the past year, I have already produced several CDs with different young rappers and plan to create some more to present them as an "International Art Spoken Word/Hip-Hop Project". The created Art CDs with "Spoken Word"/Hip-Hop music are given to the major international museums of contemporary art, and will be part of their archives as signed and numbered Art CD's.

My "Spoken Word" is the philosophical expression of the human existence in its depth. It corresponds with what people feel in their lives when confronted with pain and suffering! The hardship many of the rappers had to endure growing up have to do with the social injustice in their lives of which I am very conscious!

It is the role of an artist to "SEE" and to "EXPRESS" those injustices and make the observer/ the audience more aware, more conscious of the ongoing things.

As I describe in my letters of introduction, I go into the recording booth or on stage and perform in togetherness with "Spoken Word" artists and rappers to express the nature of our lives, of our human existence in general and specifically. Transcending the pain and feelings of loss and suffering in life's process is my way of giving, caring and loving humankind!

There is no rehearsal with Lilo Kinne, she performs truly intuitively. She expects her rappers to truly free style with as little preconceived notions as possible. At times, she provokes them to let go and uses for this different methods: sometimes Lilo is soft spoken and at times daring with much strength opening them up, freeing them.

Additionally to the "Spoken Word Artists" and young Rappers whom I have chosen and with whom I have worked throughout the past years, I plan to work with several well known Hip-Hop artists. Many of the well known Hip-Hop artists have already become friends of mine throughout the past 2 years since I have become part of the scene. The cooperation consists of us going together into the booth and expressing ourselves in togetherness and intuitive flow about the human existence.

This "International Art Spoken Word/Hip-Hop Project" is the extension of my work in general. At the beginning, there were my paintings which represent a fusion of the visual and verbal expression of the human existence. WRITTEN WORD has been used by me in a powerful way since the early 1970s in my canvases as well as other painted objects.

My artistic oeuvre is a prolonged experiment throughout the past 30 years. The creation of the expressions "MULTIDIMENSIONAL PHILOSOPHY, ART & THERAPY" at first mostly expressed in teaching, sessions, paintings, photography, the creation of art objects (such as painted furniture, clothes and others) reached more and more into additional media such as film, and also music creation.

The "International Art Spoken Word/Hip-Hop Project" is an intuitive ART PROJECT and is given not only to major international fine art museums all over the world, but I additionally document this art project with film producers in its creation and after that demonstrate and show it in art institutions such as museums, galleries and other artistic venues.

This art project does already exist since Spring 2003, and I would love to invite you to become part of this project and to cooperate with me in some way in this "International Art Spoken Word/Hip-Hop Project".

A few years ago at Danny Simmons' gallery in Chelsea, I picked Dasun for a cooperation with me in my "INTERNATIONAL ART SPOKEN WORD/HIP-HOP PROJECT".

Two major art events were held by me this year. The first one was at "QUO" on March 12, 2005. During this event, I held an art exhibition with reception as well as an Art Performance presenting my "International Art Spoken Word/Hip-Hop Project" in which I expressed the nature of our human existence.

The second art event which I held this year was at "CROBAR" on April 16, 2005. For the event on April 16, many people from all over the world came to my birthday Art Performance in New York, since I did not celebrate my birthday in form of a get-together since more than 20 years.

To many of you all over the world, I have sent photos of my Art Performance with Body Painting during Wyclef Jean's birthday party in October, 2004 at "QUO". The people who only recently met me will still receive a few images by separate e-mails from me.

Some of you have already received photos of my own birthday party at Crobar held on April 16th during which I choreographed while dancing with Olawale, a male African spirit dancer and Mindy, a black American contemporary female dancer on the large dance floor of this major New York City club.

Additionally using "Spoken Word" during the Art Performance (at this art event at Crobar) in cooperation with Dasun Allah was documented by 3 of many photographers and two of several film producers who work closely with me to create art films as documentary material in cooperation with me for the international fine art museums all over the world.

Since my letters go out to tens of thousands of people all over the world embracing this globe, some of you will receive some photos twice, please disregard them simply, if you have already saved them as many do.
